Art in Motion Latin Dancers (AIM) is one of the leading salsa dance teams on the East Coast. Based in Philadelphia, AIM made its debut in February of 2004 and has members from Philly, New Jersey and Washington DC. Within their first two years they became the top team out of the Philadelphia area and is "Philly's finest". AIM's history is unusual in that there was no Director for our first few years; all members contributed to various functions of the group. However, in order to keep the group moving forward, a Director (Rona) was elected in 2007.
Founded on the principles of unity, commitment to excellence & teamwork, AIM also specializes in other dance techniques such as bachata, mambo, meringue and cha-cha-cha. Individual team members hold state, national and worldwide championship titles. In addition, members have been featured in MTV's Real World: Philadelphia, as dancers for singer Gloria Allende, and music videos for Jill Scott and Orquesta La Romana.
